The Bill (Reg. No.3000) was adopted as a basis and in its entirety with due account taken of the motions of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Committee on Budget, and the proposals of the Government.
The Bill allocates extra 500 million UAH to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, extra funds to the Ministry of Defence for the disposal of ammunition and hard propellant, 100 million UAH for the construction of a bridge across Dnieper in Zaporizhzhia, and funds for settlement and provision of facilities to the Crimean Tatars and representatives of other nationalities deported from the territory of Ukraine.
In its Final Provisions, the Law states that the Government should submit the Bill on Amendments to the Law till 1 May 2009, taking into account the results of work for the first quarter and effect of the laws adopted in order to fill the budget.
